Children's Programming
A wonderful Shabbat, learning, and community-building opportunity for our children. The primary focus for all age groups is on the weekly Torah reading, as well as a "prayer experience" for the youngest group.
Children's Noah's Ark Service
After the Torah is marched around in the main service, the Children's Noah's Ark Service participants (ages 0-Kindergarten) will begin their program. Parents are welcome to attend the program with their children, but are not required to do so if their children are comfortable being there on their own. The Noah's Ark Service will learn about the Torah portion through stories and real-life examples, and toys are available to entertain the children until it is time for them to re-join the congregation.
Mah Tovu Minyan
After the Torah is marched around in the main service, the K thru 2nd graders will begin their program of learning the weekly parasha through the reading of stories, plays, and the chumash text. We take special care to offer an interactive and hands-on approach to Torah study for this age group.
Mini Minyan
This service is designed to offer a challenging and engaging study option that focuses on issues that may not be addressed in the main service. We study the weekly parasha or explore issues that relate to Jewish values. We examine events in our current lives so we can see that Judaism is a living religion which can be used to help to make ethical choices and serve as a guide for daily living. We recognize that there is benefit for teens to participate in the main service and encourage that as well.
Havdallah Happenings
An enjoyable and song-filled experience to end Shabbat and begin a new week in a meaningful and joyful way. Please refer to the Calendar for specific dates and times.
