Tikun Olam Tikun Olam

Social Action:  Being involved in greater community events to help raise awareness of the issues within our community, the Jewish position and our social responsibility.

Or L'Simcha's Tikun Olam activities have included sing-alongs at the Charles Morris Home, in which tots, teens, and adults brighten the spirit of the elder residents, and training in how to make homes safer for the elderly. We have also partnered with the Squirrel Hill Food Pantry to provide Turkeys for Thanksgiving. We are proud of our congregants who are always quick to answer the call as we are pledged to help those in our community who may be less fortunate or in need!

You can also help feed the hungry by donating food card to Giant Eagle or Murray Ave. Kosher for distribution to some of our neeedy congregants. These cards can be dropped off to Rabbi Chuck.
